Brad Wynne

Research Director, Advanced Forming Research Centre

 AFRC Director, Brad Wynne, was formerly the AFRC Research Director before stepping into the new role last year.  Before joining us, Brad spent over 20 years at the University of Sheffield as both a professor and senior lecturer.

Brad has a PhD in Metallurgy from Monash University and a background in materials science/ engineering with a focus on advanced metals and their processing for the aerospace and nuclear industries.  Industrially driven, Brad and the team at the AFRC work with companies including Rolls-Royce, Boeing, BAE Systems, and Sheffield Forgemasters.
