NMIS Insights Engage special: Introducing the Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC) and FutureForge and what they mean for you

This event has now ended. You can rewatch the webinar below, or visit our YouTube channel for all other webinars.

As part of the University of Strathclyde’s Engage Week, we are providing an introduction to the University of Strathclyde’s Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC), which has been at the heart of Scottish manufacturing research for over a decade.

A specialist technology centre within the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland, the AFRC provides world leading materials, forging and forming expertise on an industrial scale, and will soon launch its all-new £20m FutureForge facility.

Join us for this insightful webinar to hear from the technical teams at the AFRC who work with organisations of all sizes across different industries every day to help them make products that are lighter, faster, stronger and more efficient.

You will also learn more about FutureForge and how we are developing strategic partnerships and collaborations to help overcome challenges within the forging supply chain.

The Engage special webinar series is funded by the National Transition Training Fund (NTTF)

The NTTF programme is funded by Scottish Funding Council for the delivery of transition training in Supporting Skills 4.0
