Project aim:

To understand the innovation readiness of companies that want to collaborate with research intermediaries within the area of lightweighting.

Project background:

For decades, lightweighting has been used extensively within the automotive and aviation industries to produce vehicles that operate with reduced expenditure and maximum efficiency. This process is gaining increasing interest across wider manufacturing industries as companies look to become more competitive and meet sustainability targets and they are approaching research intermediaries to gain an understanding of innovative lightweighting solutions that can support their business needs.
