Course Summary

This free online course, developed by Scotland's leading experts in flexible working, offers a comprehensive understanding of flexible work arrangements and their implications for both employees and employers within the manufcaturing sector. 

The course covers key topics, including different types of flexible working, the benefits and legal rights associated with flexible working, strategies for initiating discussions, addressing common challenges, and exploring its application in the manufacturing sector.

By completing this course, participants will gain valuable insights and practical knowledge to effectively implement and manage flexible working within their organisations, fostering a more adaptable and inclusive work environment.

This course is aimed at employees and management in the manufacturing sector. It can be delivered for individuals or as a business-wide training offering.

Attendees will gain a better understanding of the importance of flexible working and how to create flexible jobs. They will gain a better understanding of workers’ rights in relation to flexible working.

Attendees will also gain confidence to explore and implement new and more flexible ways of working in their own team or organisation, as well as a better understanding of how to help frontline workers create work-life harmony.
