Course Summary

Successfully executing a digital strategy brings an acknowledged increase in inherent cyber security risks.

This session is a practical exploration of industrial cyber security, examining threats that arise with developments in digital technologies and connectivity, while sharing methods of preventing and dealing with attacks in the manufacturing sphere.

Our training courses may reach their maximum capacity before all interested delegates have had the opportunity to register. To ensure that no one misses out, we have implemented a waiting list system. We aim to run courses at least once per quarter, but course dates will be confirmed based on registrations.

  • Introduction to industry 4.0
  • Cyber security background
  • Industrial cybersecurity overview
  • Components of industrial cybersecurity
  • DTG support with industrial cybersecurity strategy

The learning outcomes of this course is broken down as follows: 

• Understand the key differences between IT and OT cyber security.
• Understand the risks and threats to manufacturing and supply systems.
• Know how to develop a layered cyber security strategy.
• Understand your own responsibilities for minimising cyber risks.

The course is aimed at senior management to technician level.

This course will help organisations create a cyber aware workforce culture. Attendees will gain a deep understanding of cyber security threats and the vectors of attack.

They will understand the scale and scope of the problem that cyber security presents to industry 4.0.

Attendees will also develop a basic knowledge of cyber-attack prevention and mitigation which will help their organisation reduce their number of cybersecurity breaches. This course is CPD accredited.
